Too bad this company won't replace the tabs to install the filter, it is a MESS every time and they make it sound easy to repair. I have spend hundreds of dollars to replace the wood under my sink because the hose doesn't come off like they say it dooes and I've complained over and over again and they keep saying they will fix it, but they don't!

It is difficult to get the old filter changed out. The collar holding the water tube does not release, so you have to rip it out - damaging the end of the water tube. Installing is easy, but changing out is not.

Like the filter very much. It is hard to remove the lines from the old filter when replacing. A tool should be made to compress the fittings on both ends to make disassembly easier.

I had a reverse osmosis filter and it simply would not let my frig make ice! I even removed the frig filter to let the water through better. No dice. Got this one and my icemaker now keeps up with us even in the summer. Still left the frig filter out though. Frig filter alone just tasted nasty!
