I have used these cartridges and given them to friends and family for years. Once I read how harmful it is to stand in the increased chlorine gas that warm shower water creates, I got them for 2 family members with asthma, which was noticeably helpful. The water feels softer and tastes sweeter after running through the filter. They seem to last a long time. I have a testing device so I can check the pH and parts per million to be sure filter is still working. I still find them difficult to get on and frequently end up showering the entire room with the black charcoal mess when it isn't threaded just exactly. My most recent filter developed a tiny 3/4" crack in it, spraying water onto the ceiling. I wrote 3 emails to the company and never got a reply. At this moment I am reluctant to replace my filters because of the split cartridge. I also don't like the teaser shower for life price when I am single and can't use that many filters. I am looking for another system. When I give them as gifts, they are not replaced because of the cost.

And sometimes, the new filter seems to make my skin feel great, while other times, when the new filter gets delivered, it seems like it's not filtering any chlorine or anything and my skin ends up still being dry. I've also heard that this filter may not filter out all chlorine while hot water is on.

I have used these cartridges and given them to friends and family for years. I think these filters are probably the best on the market. However, I have a really hard time replacing them! Getting the old filter off is a nightmare for me. Thinking of trying a different brand just for that very reason, which makes me sad. I think these do a great job, we are rural and have horrible rusty water, have to treat it with chlorine, etc.....

last filter we got had brown water coming through after 2months of use not sure why as we have used these for years and never had a problem, plus last one broke my wand trying to get the filter off cause it had build up on the threads!
overall I still think its one of the best just had problems recently. hope this helps?
