Meet Aquasana’s new and improved lineup of Rhino® whole house filters, including our newest system that tackles chlorine at a faster flow rate from every tap in your home. Perfect for larger homes and families seeking maximum performance, the new Rhino® Max Flow whole house water filter leverages our innovative filtration technology and enhanced design to remove up to 97% of chlorine at up to 14.5 gallons per minute. The new system also comes in a Chloramines model for homes located in municipalities that use that aggressive disinfectant (a combination of chloramine and ammonia) to treat their water supply.

By stripping chlorine, chloramines, and other contaminants from every tap, whole house water filters offer numerous benefits throughout the entire home, including better-tasting drinking water in the kitchen, improved air quality, noticeably healthier, softer skin and hair in the shower, and less color fading in the laundry. Designed especially for larger homes, families with more people in the house, or simply those seeking maximum performance, our new Rhino® Max Flow systems have been independently tested and proven to reduce 97% of chlorine – the same superior contaminant reduction as our standard Rhino® system – at twice the flow rate.* For families who line in areas of the country that use aggressive chloramines to treat their water supply, the Rhino® Chloramines Max Flow has been independently tested to reduce 83% of chloramine and 97% of chlorine with a flow rate of 10 gallons per minute.** Both systems are built to last for up to one million gallons or 10 years.

“Installing a whole house water filter is one of the easiest and most effective ways to improve the overall health and wellness of a home,” says Derek Mellencamp, general manager at Aquasana. “Our award-winning filters have led the charge for over two decades, including when we launched the first whole house filter available to consumers to tackle lead and PFOA/PFOS. We’re dedicated to helping provide families with easy access to cleaner water, and so we’re thrilled to introduce our new Max Flow systems for both chlorine and chloramines, along with the numerous new enhancements to the entire lineup of Rhino® whole house filters.”

In addition to the new Max Flow systems, we’re also thrilled to unveil a series of enhancements across our entire lineup of Rhino® whole house filters, including faster flow rates, extended product lifespans, an assembly kit that makes installation more efficient and saves homeowners money, and an upgraded 20-inch Pre-Filter that now comes standard with all Rhino® systems. We’ve improved the divider valve on all of our Rhino® systems to significantly increase the flow rates, meaning homeowners won’t experience a noticeable change in water pressure after installing their system. Additionally, our new and improved standard Rhino® Chloramines system now lasts 150% longer than the previous model, for up to one million gallons or 10 years. All of our city Rhino® tanks are now WQA certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN Standard 61.

"Our new and improved standard Rhino® Chloramines system now lasts 150% longer than the previous model, for up to one million gallons or 10 years."

Praised as one of the “Best Whole House Water Filters” in the country by Forbes, Men’s Journal, MONEY, Food Network, and Bob Vila, our independently tested whole house filters are comprised of carefully sequenced stages – each with its own unique formula of high-potency, contaminant-grabbing media and filtration. Rhino® Filter Copper-Zinc (KDF) aids in the reduction of chlorine, extends the life of each system, and inhibits bacteria and algae growth. Activated carbon removes up to 97% of chlorine. Additionally, the Rhino’s unique upflow, dual-tank design increases water contact time with contaminant-grabbing media to prevent clogging or media channeling. The tanks are intelligently engineered to be easier to install and maintain – no electricity, drain lines, or back flushing required – unlike other whole house filters that require messy, complicated replacements. Unlike other whole house filters with bulky replacements, Rhino® filters are designed for quick and simple tank changes.

Since each home is unique, Rhino® whole house systems can be customized with optional enhancements to add more performance and meet your family’s special needs. Our Salt-Free Water Conditioner which now lasts 67% longer than our previous model, provides eco-friendly scale prevention to protect plumbing and appliances without the use of harsh chemicals or salt. To safeguard your family against pathogens, our UV Filter sterilizes 99.99% of bacteria and viruses and 99% of cysts from every tap in the home.*** Our new Low Maintenance Pre-Filter option lasts three times longer than the standard Pre-Filter, and the Post-Filter, which is considered a polishing agent, reduces any remaining sediment and organic particles. Finally, our new Pro-Grade Bypass Kit Upgrade allows you to bypass the system so you can replace your filters without having to shut off your water, and it comes with high-quality brass components.
