The Claryum® 3-Stage Filter Replacements set is designed for use with the Aquasana Claryum® 3-Stage systems (models AQ-5300 and AQ-6300) and provides clean, great-tasting water for up to 6 months or 600 gallons.
This set includes two advanced Claryum® filters that combine activated and catalytic carbon, ion-exchange, and sub-micron pre-filter to deliver premium contaminant reduction. A 5 micron pre-filter is also included to capture rust, sediment, and silt.
These replacement filters now feature even better contaminant reduction. Aquasana's Claryum® filtration technology is tested and certified to NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53 (includes P473), and 401, for the reduction of 99.995% of Cysts, 99.6% of microplastics and lead, 99.7% of PFAS Forever Chemicals (specifically PFOA/PFOS), 97.3% of chlorine, and 91% of chloramines. The PFOA/PFOS results are tested down to 20 parts per trillion (PPT) per NSF’s new, even more stringent testing protocol.

1. Do I have to pay for a plumber to replace my
filters?
Our under-sink drinking water filter systems are easy to install, and a plumber is not required. If you have any

2. How often do I have to replace my
filters?
We recommend changing the filter cartridges every 3 to 6 months, depending upon the specific filter gallon
capacity.
Regularly changing the filters prevents the growth of bacteria in the system and enables your system to continue
to
deliver cleaner, healthier water. The filter capacity varies between each under sink system:
- Claryum® 2-Stage: 500 gallon capacity
- Claryum® 3-Stage: 600 gallon capacity
- Claryum® 3-Stage Max Flow: 800 gallon capacity
- Claryum® Direct Connect: 784 gallon capacity

3. How do I recycle the replacement
filters?
Due to the nature of the carbon block's assembly and the contents of a used filter, the filters cannot be
recycled.
4. What is the difference between your
under sink filters?
All Aquasana drinking water systems use the same advanced Claryum® filtration technology. The difference between the under-sink systems is the capacity and performance level.
- Claryum® 2-Stage: 500-gallon capacity or up to 6 months.
- Claryum® 3-Stage: 600-gallon capacity or up to 6 months. Includes 5 micron Pre-Filter.
- Claryum® 3-Stage Max Flow: 800 gallons or up to 6 months. Includes Pre-Filter and a 44% increased flow rate.
- Claryum® Direct Connect: 784 gallons or up to 6 months and filters directly from your existing faucet.
5. What is Claryum® technology and what
does it do?
Claryum® technology is a selective filtration process that uses sub-micron filtration, micron filtration, and
adsorption. Together, these technologies remove up to 99.99% of 78 contaminants while retaining healthy minerals like
calcium, magnesium, and potassium.
6. Is this purified water?
No, this is not purified water, it is filtered water. Purified water undergoes reverse osmosis or distillation,
which
strips everything out of your water - not only the contaminants, but also the healthy, natural minerals. Our
systems use
selective filtration designed to reduce contaminants from the water and leave in the natural healthy minerals like
calcium, potassium, and magnesium.
7. What's the purpose of the battery in
my system?
For your convenience, the system will alert you when it's time to change your filters. The alert is powered by the
battery.
8. How do I change the battery in my
system?
Your replacements came with a new battery tray with a new battery inside it. Simply swap the old battery tray +
battery with the new set.
9. I've replaced the battery in my
system, but the system did not beep and/or did not blink red.
Ensure that the new battery tray is completely pushed into the manifold. If your system is still not recognizing
the new
battery, please contact Customer Support at 866-662-6885.
10. What does TDS?
TDS, or Total Dissolved Solids, is the amount of dissolved minerals and metals present in water. TDS meters tell
you the
concentration of dissolved minerals and metals but are not an accurate measurement for contamination. Aquasana
products
reduce harmful dissolved solids like lead but selectively retain or replace healthy dissolved solids like calcium,
magnesium, and potassium. Read more about TDS here.
11. What is BPA?
BPA stands for Bisphenol-A, a contaminant found in most plastics. BPA can adversely affect your health if consumed
at
high levels. Aquasana drinking systems do not contain BPA, and our filtration process reduces existing BPA.
